A special attraction is mount Biokovo, part of the nature park, which towers over Makarska. It offers an unforgettable view of the Dalmatian islands and a unique shooting opportunity for amateur and professional photographers. The top can be reached on foot (2-3 hours of hiking) or by car (45 minutes).
